Fluent Support allows users to effortlessly Import their entire Ticket database from various platforms (Awesome Support, Support Candy, JS Helpdesk, Help Scout, Freshdesk, and Zendesk) into Fluent Support, eliminating the need for transferring manually. This article will guide you through the whole process of doing it.

Import Tickets From Other Platforms Into Fluent Support

To learn how to import tickets from other platforms into fluent support, follow the steps with screenshots below —

Go to Settings or Global Settings from the Fluent Support Dashboard and click the Ticket Importer. Then, you will find all the other plugins for ticket migration.

Now, select a platform from where you want to import the entire Ticket database and click the Import Tickets button.

For example, I selected Awesome Support for importing its all tickets into Fluent Support.

Here, you can see all 11 Tickets are Imported with just one click, and the migration date & time are displayed as well.

Remember, only from the Awesome Support, Support Candy, and JS Helpdesk plugins, you can easily import data just by clicking the Import Tickets button, as shown below.

But, to import tickets from the Help Scout, Freshdesk, and Zendesk platforms, you need to do a few extra configurations.

HelpScout is a SaaS tool for customer communication. HelpScout users can easily transfer their tickets to Fluent Support through an API. This article will guide you through the process.

Remember, to migrate the Tickets from HelpScout to Fluent Support, you need to have the Fluent Support Pro installed and activated on your WordPress Site.

Import Tickets From Help Scout Into Fluent Support

To learn how to import tickets from Help Scout into Fluent Support, follow the steps with screenshots below —

From the Fluent Support Dashboard, go to Settings or Global Settings, select the Ticket Importer, find Help Scout for ticket migration, and click Import Tickets.

A popup page will appear asking for your App ID, App Secret, and Authorization Code. Now, copy the HelpScout Redirection URL for future use.

To get the App ID and Secret, go to your HelpScout account. Go to the Profile Icon from the right-hand corner of the Dashboard, select Your Profile, choose My Apps, and click the Create My App button.

Name your App, paste the previously copied URL into the Redirection URL field, and click the Create button.

Now, copy the App ID and App Secret from here.

Return to the Help Scout popup page from the Fluent Support Dashboard and paste the App ID & App Secret copied from your Help Scout account into the desired field.

To obtain the Authorization Code, click the Get Authorized button now.

It will bring you back to the HelpScout page, now click on the Authorize button.

You will receive your Authorization code here, now simply copy it.

Return to the Help Scout popup page again and paste this in the Authorization Code field.

Click the Request Token to get your Access Token. Your all mailboxes will appear in the dropdown list under the Choose Mailbox field. Select the required mailbox to import tickets.

You can choose only one Mailbox at a time, and without selecting the specific mailbox you won’t be able to import your tickets.

Once you are done, click the Import Tickets button.

Finally Import Tickets 

Congratulations, you are now ready to proceed! The importation of tickets will begin, and a notification will be sent once all your tickets have been successfully imported.

Here, you can see all the Tickets are Imported and the migration date & time are displayed as well.

Import Tickets From Help Scout Into Fluent Support

To learn how to import tickets from Zendesk into Fluent Support, follow the steps with screenshots below —

From the Fluent Support Dashboard, go to Settings or Global Settings, select the Ticket Importer, find Zendesk for ticket migration, and click Import Tickets.

A popup page will appear asking for your Zendesk Domain, Email Address, and API Key.

To get the Zendesk Domain and API Key, go to your Zendesk account. Press the Settings Icon from the left sidebar and click the Go to Admin Center.

From the Apps and Integration in the left sidebar, select the Zendesk API, agree with the Zendesk Terms & Conditions, and click the Get Started button to begin.

On the Zendesk API page, you need to enable Tocken Acess by clicking the toggle.
Then, press the Add API token button and an API will appear. Simply, copy the API and click on the Save button.

Also, copy Zendesk’s Domain URL from the URL section.

Return to the Zendesk popup page from the Fluent Support Dashboard.

Paste the Domain URL, Email (which you used to open your Zendesk account), and API Key (copied from your Zendesk account), into the desired fields. Finally, click on the Import Tickets button.

Congratulations, you are now ready to proceed! The importation of tickets will begin, and a notification will be sent once all your tickets have been successfully imported.

Here, you can see all the Tickets are Imported and the migration date & time are displayed as well.

Then the API key will come. Simply, copy the API key from here.

Return to the Freshdesk popup page from the Fluent Support Dashboard.
Paste the Domain URL and API Key copied from your Freshdesk account into the desired field, and click the Import Tickets button.

Finally Import Tickets
